YMCA After School Program at Church School Locations
The YMCA Before & After School Enrichment program is available at 26 schools throughout Hillsborough County. The program is dedicated to nurturing child development with experienced and CPR/First Aid-certified counselors. The Tampa Y BASE staff provides a safe and healthy place for children to learn foundational skills, develop healthy and trusting relationships, and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Our schedule is comprised of an open ceremony/attendance, free snack, STEAM projects, arts & crafts, study hall with homework assistance, physical fitness, centers, service learning and FUN.
The YMCA BASE program offers after school care available from school dismissal until 6pm.
How to Register for Before & After School at Church School Locations
2025-2026 Registration is Open!
Safety First: Tell the Y your family is attending the 2025-2026 BASE program! Please ensure to register each child for the YMCA after school program each school year, even if your family participated last school year.
- Use a desktop computer to access online registration for after school care
- Find your family's school from options below
- BASE registration is for the school year. In the enrollment process, select "ALL" on the calendar
- Enroll each child attending the program
- You will receive an email confirmation stating registration is complete
2025-2026 Program Costs per Child
- PM Care: $60/week
- Annual Enrollment Fee (non-refundable): $30 per child, per school year upon initial registration
